Selected Highlights from this Issue:
- The President's Commission on Campus Unrest, also known as the Scranton Commission, issued their report. The Alumnus discussed the commissions' conclusions as well as the reaction from faculty and students.
- The Alumnus included an article from U.S. News & World Report , titled "Money Crisis For Colleges: Why."
- Thomas W. Richards (class of 1950) helped purchase over 60,000 acres of "ecologically important" as part of his work for the Nature Conservancy.
