- Robin Wagner (class of 1976) described working in the Archives & Special Collections as a student assistant.
- Carolyn Bryant (class of 1966) discussed her work on an exhibit on American band music for the Smithsonian's Traveling Exhibit Service.
- John B. Peters (class of 1922) was named "Apple Man of the Year" for his contribution to the Apple industry as "an outstanding grower, processor, and packer."
- Paul E. Doros (class of 1974) was appointed as curator of glass at the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, Virginia.
