Selected Highlights from this Issue:
- Dr. Sam A. Banks was inaugurated as Dickinson's 25th President.
- The Boyd Lee Spahr Library introduced the OCLC (Ohio College Library Center) database and started the Library Liaison program.
- "Unfinished Memoir: Roger Brooke Taney" examined the influence that Dickinson had on the former chief justice of the supreme court.
- Samuel W. Witwer (class of 1930), President of the Board of Trustees, was named a Lincoln Laureate.
- Edward K. Shirk (class of 1967) and his colleagues announced that they might have discovered a magnetic monopole.
- Andy Banks (class of 1975), the son of President Banks, rode his bike from Florida to California.
