  • The Football team posted a 7-1 record, the best season in 28 years, during Wilbur Gobrecht's (class of 1952) first season as head coach.
  • Walter E. Beach (class of 1956) discussed on Dr. Moncure D. Conway (class of 1849) and his contributions to the College in "The Hall and the Man: Conway."
  • Captain Frank M. Romanick (class of 1947) was commander of the United States Naval Communications Stations in the Philippines during the amphibious operation at Chu Lai, South Vietnam.
  • Students organized a blood drive with the Cumberland County Chapter of the Red Cross to support US military operations in Vietnam.
  • Edwin E. Lippincott II (class of 1944) became the judge of Delaware County's Sixth Court of Common Pleas.
  • Bill Thomas (class of 1935) was appointed senior vice-president in charge of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company's group insurance operations.
