An oval-shaped wavy metal strip attached to a clear square plastic base with the text engraved "UNITED STATES STEEL FOUNDATION DICKINSON COLLEGE FOR IMPROVEMENT ALUMNI GIVING INCENTIVE AWARD AMERICAN ALUMNI COUNCIL", awarded to the college by the United States Steel Foundation.

Ford Foundation Plaque, 1955

A bronze plaque (8” x 20”) with an inscription commemorating the Ford Foundation’s Basic Grant to Dickinson College in 1955. According to the plaque, the gift was put into the permanent endowment and was used to increase faculty salaries.

Fred Petty PMEA Plaque, 1977

Wood plaque with Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) seal and copper plate with inscription to Fred Petty as host of PMEA Orchestra Festival, 1977. Petty was a professor of music at Dickinson College from 1971 to 1997 and director of the Dickinson College Orchestra.

Habitat for Humanity Plaque, 2001

A gold trimmed paper certificate mounted on a wooden plaque with a black hammer affixed to it from the Cumberland Valley Habitat for Humanity. Given to Dickinson College in recognition of their outstanding service for the Carlisle community. "In Recognition of Your Generous Contribution" is written in black within the Habitat for Humanity logo in the top right corner. In the bottom left corner "Cumberland Valley Habitat for Humanity extends deep appreciation to Dickinson College January 8, 2001" is written in black and blue.
