It provides a short account of the Confederate occupation of Carlisle and notes that they requisitioned supplies from civilians. The report does not mention the Confederate shelling of Carlisle or the burning of the US Army barracks in Carlisle. In addition, it notes that the railroad and telegraph lines have sustained damage.
