The editors ask the student body to remember that the reputation of Dickinson is in their hands.  Rev. Charles Force Deems, Class of 1839, passes away.  Phi Delta Theta holds its annual banquet.  The College Orchestra and Glee Club to go on tour during the holiday recess.  Professor Fletcher Durell wins the first prize in the American Sunday School Union's contest for essays on Christian Education.  General Horatio King of New York delivers a lecture in Bosler Hall.  Shakespeare class formed.  Union Philosophical and Belles Lettres Societies, and the Dover Seminary Club elect their officers.
