Student committee on social affairs and the faculty social committee to change organization of social functions. About 25 students plan to go to Washington, D.C. for Franklin Roosevelt's presidential inauguration. Junior class votes to have Microcosm dedicated to Mr. Malcolm, the college's treasurer and superintendent of the grounds and buildings. Plans for students to go to a performance of one of Wagner's operas commence. Metzger Hall gets brighter lights by request of its residents. President Waugh proposes changes to the curriculum, which the faculty will vote on soon. Summary of last few contests the Debate Squad has engaged in. Junior Prom will be open to all students. Both Sigma Tau Phi and Phi Epsilon Pi, the two national Jewish fraternities on campus, petition for inclusion on the Interfraternity council. Opinion piece on the spread of socialist propaganda on campus by the student portion of the Y.M.C.A. Talk held about alcoholism. Phi Kappa Sigma wins interfraternity boxing championship. Candidates for the baseball team met last week to start practicing. Freshmen Basketball team beat Quintet. Spring Musicale to be performed in a few weeks.
