Due to a possible budget cut by the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency towards higher education, the College has about $70,000 at stake if the $300 million dollar fund is cut by the state. The College commission seeks to improve women's status both on campus, in the classroom and amongst faculty members. The College Chamber Choir is to perform in Washington D.C. at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The College's Food Service is reviewing its food, meal plans and sanitation. The Mermaid Players' performance of the impressionist play, "The Caucasian Chalk Circle" attracted overflow crowds that an encore performance had to be scheduled.
