Wise to discusses several political issues, including the sanctity of party pledges, the character of President-elect William Henry Harrison, and the uncertainty as to the makeup of the new cabinet. Harrison "will be President... in thought and in deed" and, as Tyler argues, "I do not believe that he will submit himself to the dictation of party." Transcript included.
