175th Anniversary Conovcation

A three day Convocation was held in honor of the 175th Anniversary of the founding of Dickinson College. Important members of society, such as two Pennsylvania senators, Thomas Campbell Clark, Attorney General of the United States, former governor of Pennsylvania Arthur H. James, and Pulitzer Prize winner Mark Van Doren gave speeches over the three days. In the closing session, honorary degrees in various subjects were presented.
