Conway Hall Dedication

On Tuesday, June 6th, 1905 Conway Hall was dedicated as the new home of the Collegiate Preparatory School of Dickinson.  The building contained offices, recitation rooms, society halls, waiting halls, dining halls, a chapel, and dormitories and was thoroughly lit by electricity and heated by steam.  The entire cost of the building was provided by Andrew Carnegie in honor of his friend Moncure Daniel Conway, Dickinson '49.  Mr. Conway spoke at the dedication ceremony.
