Family Weekend Concert 2000

The Music Department presented a Family Weekend concert, featuring the Collegium, the College-Community Orchestra, the College Choir, the Brass Ensemble, and the Symphonic Band, at 11:00am in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium.  The ensembles perfromed Lodovico da Viadana's "Exsultati justi", Morten Lauridsen's "O magnum mysterium", Phillip Nicolai's "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme" (arr. J.S. Bach), William Billings' "I Am Come into My Garden", the Silesian folk melody "Beautiful Savior" (arr. F. Melius Christiansen), Edwin Franko Goldman's "On the Mall", Percy Grainger's "Irish Turn from County Derry", Alfred Reed's "A Festival Prelude", George Frideric Handel's "La Rejouissance", and Giuseppe Verdi's "Overture to La Battaglia di Legnano".
