Ride the Chariot 2002

The Music Department presented "Ride the Chariot 2002," a concert of music by African American composers, at 12:00pm.  The program included Harry T. Burleigh's "Among the Fuchias," "And As the Gull Soars," "A Jubilee," and "A New Hiding Place"; Margaret Bonds' "Minstrel Man" and "I, Too"; Robert Owens' "A House in Taos" and "Jamie"; H. Leslie Adams' "Sence She Went Away" and "Etude in A minor"; William Grand Still's "Listen to De Lambs"; and Roland Hayes' "Lit'l Boy."
