Annual Contest of the Freshman Class 1899

This annual contest was held on Tuesday, May 2, 1899 in Bosler Memorial Hall. Ten members of the Freshman class gave speeches in a competition for the Cole Prize (a gold medal to the first place winner) and the Walkley Prize ($15 to the second place winner).
