  • The College welcomed the Class of 1974, which consisted of 189 women and 225 men from 24 states and the District of Columbia.
  • Wilbur Gobrecht (class of 1952) finished writing History of Dickinson Football.
  • Trustee Boyd Lee Spahr (class of 1900), the namesake of the Library, died at age 90 in August 1970.
