The Gourman Report: A Rating of Undergraduate Programs in American and International Universities, gives Dickinson a rating of "marginal," the lowest possible rating. Dickinson attempts to recruit more black students. The Senior Action Committee plan their events for the year and start the Senior Gift Drive. Freshman seminars are officially made a graduation requirement. The topic of the next three day Public Affairs Symposium is "Nuclear Arms...What's the Next Move?" Keynote Speaker Ambassador Paul C. Warnke, chief negotiator for SALT II (Strategic Arms Limitation Talks) will speak on "Security in the Nuclear Age: More Arms or More Control." A brief schedule of PAS events is also provided. Dancer and actress Margaret Beals will preform in the Weiss center.
