1948 College Choir Concert

The College Choir, accompanied by pianist Jean Eshbach, performed for its spring concert at 8:15pm in Bosler Hall. They sang a program of eighteen songs: Sibelius' "Onward Ye People", Waring's "Onward Christian Soldiers", De Falla's "El Pano Moruno", Speaks' "Morning", Bortiansky's "Cherubim Song No. 7", Wilhousky's "Carol of the Bells", Chopin's "Premiere Ballade", Christiansen's "Beautiful Savior" and "Lost in the Night", Mana-Zucca's "I Love Life", Mallotte's "Lord's Prayer", Smith's "Go Tell it on the Mountains", Olds' "Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child", Smith's "Nobody Know's the Trouble I've Seen", Hinchman's "We're Lounging on the Old Stone Steps", King's "Noble Dickinsonia", and Lutkin's "The Lord Bless You".
