1959 Christmas Concert

The College Choir, Concert Chorale and Brass Ensemble performed at 8:00pm in the College Chapel for the annual Christmas concert. Part of the Music Department's Christmas Festival, the program featured eleven songs including an original piece by Professor Jack Jarrett entitled "A Psalm of Christmas", Volkmar Leisting's "Ye Sons and Daughters of the King", Johann Sebastian Bach's "Break Forth, O Beauteous Heavenly Light" and "All Breathing Life", Christiansen's "In Heaven Above" and "The Christmas Symbol", Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Sancta Maria", Lara Hoggard's arrangement of "The Twelve Days of Christmas", Max Krone's arrangement of "Pat-a-pan", Rockwood's "Christmas Natus Est", and George Handel's "Hallelujah" from The Messiah.
