1978 Christmas Concert

Cultural Affairs and the Department of Music presented the College-Community Orchestra and the College Choir in a Christmas concert at 3:00pm in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. The program opened with the Orchestra playing Franz Peter Schubert's "Overture in the Italian Style", commemorating the 150 anniversary of the composer's death. The Choir the Orchestra in performing Johann Sebastian Bach's "Magnificat Anima Mea Dominum". After the intermission, the Choir sang Psalm 121: 1, 2; Psalm 95: 4; Psalm 98: 1, 4, 6; and Psalm 23: 1-3. The program concluded with the Orchestra playing Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Concerto in E-flat for Two Pianofortes" and Pierre Luboshutz's "The Bat".
