Beth Bullard Performs

The Department of Music presented Beth Bullard in "A Short History of the Flute in Living Sound" in Rubendall Recital Hall. Accompanied by keyboardist Truman Bullard, she played Benjamin Godard's "Suite for flute and piano", William Byrd's "La Volta", Thomas Morley's "Alman", Jacob van Eyck's "Psalm 9 with two variations for flute solo", Jacques Hotteterre's "Modere and Gai for solo flute", Francois Couperin's "The Nightingale in love" and "The Nightingale victorious", Johann Joachim Quantz's "Sonata in E Minor", John Stanley's "Sonata in D Major for flute and harpsichord", Anton Stamitz's "Eight Caprices for solo flute", and Maurice Ravel's "Piece en forme de habanera".
