Bolshoi Ballet's Film Screening
Thu., May 8, 1969
A film of the Bolshoi Ballet's production of Prokofiev's Cinderella was shown at 8:30pm in the Holland Union Social Hall. Because the company was based in the Soviet Union, it was not possible for them to tour in the United States. Their prowess in concert dance was nonetheless admired, inspiring the Cultural Affairs Committee to hold a screening of this rare footage of the company.
