Charles University Chorus and Dickinson College Choir Choral Festival

The Charles University Chorus from Prague, Czechoslovakia and the Dickinson College Choir performed in a choral festival together at 3:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. The choruses performed Antonin Dvorak's "V prirode, Opus 63", Petr Eben's "Láska a smrt", Bohuslav Martinu's "Five Czech Madrigals", Zdenek Lukas' "Parabolae Salomonis", Ulysses Kay's "Flowers in the Valley", Deems Taylor's arrangement of the Czech folk song "Tece voda, tece", Luboš Fišer's "Róže", madrigals by Bohuslav Martinu, Klement Slavický's "Rozmarný Madrigal", and the folk songs "Mikulecká dedina" and "It Rains Cats and Dogs', arranged by O. Halma, and "Dance, Dance," arranged by P. Eben.
