Choir, Chamber Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, and Eaken Piano Trio Perform Lenten Concert

The Music Department presented a Lenten concert by the Dickinson College Choir, the Dickinson College Chamber Orchestra, the Brass Ensemble, and  the Eaken Piano Trio at Old St. Paul's Church in Baltimore, Maryland at 4:45pm.  The ensembles performed Johann Sebastian Bach's "Concerto for  2 violins and orchestra in D minor, BWV 1043"; Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings"; Rebecca Clarke's "Trio for violin, cello, and piano"; Georg Philipp Telemann's "Processional: Heldenmusik"; Johannes Brahms' "Fest und Gedanksprüche, Op. 109", and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's "Be Not Afraid", "He Watching Over Israel", and "Then Shall Your Light Break Forth".
