College Choir and Dickinson Collegium Perform

The Music Department presented a spring choral concert by the Dickinson Collegium and the College Choir at 4:00pm at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Carlisle.  The ensembles performed Benjamin Britten's "Choral Dances from Gloriana" and Five Flower Songs, op. 47, the Irish traditional tune "Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ye" (arr. Alice Parker), Randall Thompson's "The Road Not Taken" and "Choose Something Like a Star," Johannes Brahms' arrangements of "Wach auf meins Herzens Schöne" and "Dort in den Weiden," Alberto Favero and Mario Benedetti's "Te Quiero" (arr. Liliana Cangiano), the American folk song "Shenandoah" (arr. James Erb), Daniel Gawthrop and Jane Griner's "Sing Me to Heaven," and Aaron Copland and Horace Everett's "The Promise of Living."
