Collegium Musicum Italian Tour

The Collegium Musicum toured Italy from May 23-31 and performed five concerts in Assissi, Siena, Firenze, Prato, and Bologna.  The program featured the traditional American pieces "Wondrous Love" (arr. R. Boyd), "Fulfillment," "Bozrah," "The Midnight City," and "How Firm a Foundation" (arr. P.L. Anderson);Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's Missa brevis; Daniel Read's "Sherburne"; William Billings' "Shiloh"; Philippe Verdelot's "O dolce nocte" and "Quanto sia lieto il giorno"; Morton Lauridsen's "O magnum mysterium"; and Truman Bullard's arrangement Songs Cheerful, Tearful, and Fearful: A Tour of America through Folksongs.
