Donald Knuth Receives Priestley Award
Tue., Mar. 10, 1981
Donald Knuth, Fletcher Jones Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Stanford University, was awarded the 1981 Priestley Award for his many creative contributions to software engineering and education, making computer science more accessable. At the ceremony, Dr. Knuth gave an address titled "Mathematical Typography."
