Jazz Ensemble Performs

The Music Department presented a concert by the Jazz Ensemble, featuring guest artist trombonist John Fedchock, at 8:00pm in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium.  The ensemble performed Wyche and Watts' "Alright, Okay, You Win" (arr. Nestico); Zawinul's "Birdland" (arr. Kerchner); Ellington and Mills' "C Jam Blues" (orch. Hall); Mangione's "Children of Sanchez" (arr. Wolpe); Winding's "Denish Blue"; Fedchock's "A Drop in the Bucket", "Easy Goin'", and "Latin Import"; Silver's "Nutville" (arr. Barduhn); Zawinul's "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy" (arr. Wilson"); Mercier's "Shock Wave"; and Haggard and Burke's "What's New?" (arr. Fedchock).
