Jennifer Blyth Performs

The Music Department and the German Department presented "The People United Will Never Be Defeated," a faculty recital by pianist Jennifer Blyth, at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  Blyth performed Frederic Rzewski's "The Gods are Strange," "Dreadful Memories," "Twelve Variations on 'The People United Shall Never Be Defeated," and "What a Wonderful Beginning"; Bach/Busoni's "Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland," "In dir ist Freude," and "Ich ruf zu dir"; Charles Ives' "The Alcotts"; Pat Long's "Sonata with Words"; and Richard Wagner's "Isolde's Liebestod" (arr. Franz Liszt).
