Junior Vocal Recital

The Department of Music presented mezzo-soprano Kim Wright and soprano Phoebe Castanis in their junior recital at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Accompanied by clarinetist Elaine Bergstresser, they sang Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Ridente la Calma", George Friedrich Handel's "Verdi Prati", Stefano Donaudy's "O del mio amato ben", Christoph Willibald von Gluck's "Che Faro Senza Euridice", Franz Schubert's "An die Musik", Robert Schumann's "Wehmut", Felix Mendelssohn's "Auf Flugeln des Gesanges", Gabriel Faure's "Le Secret", Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Silent Noon", Edward Elgar's "Sea Slumber Song", Norman Dello Joio's "How do I Love Thee", and John Duke's "Be Still as You are Beautiful".
