Junior Vocal Recital

The Department of Music presented sopranos Wendy Baker and Sharon Schultheiss in their junior recital at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Accompanied by pianist Laura Reed, they sang Henry Purcell's "Sound the Trumpet"; Antonio Vivaldi's "Vieni, vieni o mio diletto", "Dille ch'il viver mio", and "Di due rai"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "An Chloe", "Trennungslied", and "Voi che sapete"; Felix Mendelssohn's "Abendlied"; Richard Strauss' "All mein Gedanken", "Die Nacht", and "Fur Funfzehn Pfennige"; Gabriel Faure's Poeme d'un Jour; Ernest Chausson's "Reveil"; and Gioacchino Rossini's "Duetto dei due Gatti".
