Mid-Year Convocation 1987

This mid-year convocation was held on Tuesday, January 20th, 1987 in Memorial Hall in West College. The ceremony also celebrated the college's relationship with Bremen University in Germany. Following the processional, opening remarks were given by Acting President Allan. In celebration of the college's relationship with Bremen University, two addresses were given by Dickinson faculty; one on International Education at Dickinson, and the other on Dickinson Programs in Bremen. Jurgen Timm, Rector of the University of Bremen, gave an address, and was awarded an honorary degree as Doctor of Science by the college.
