Nancy Baun Performs

The Music Department presented "An Afternoon of French Music," a faculty recital by cellist Nancy Baun, accompanied by pianist Gloria Whitney, at 3:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Baun performed François Couperin's "Pièces en Concert", Camille Saint-Saëns' "Le Cygne" and "Concerto No. 1", Georges Bizet's "Habañera" from Carmen, Charles Gounod's "Ave Maria", Claude Debussy's "Sonata in D minor" and "Clair de Lune", and Gabriel Fauré's "Elegy, Op. 24".
