Noonday Concert

The Music Department presented a Noonday Concert for St. Valentine's Day in the Rubendall Recital Hall. Students and faculty performed G.B. Sammartini's "Sonata in G major", N. Merques' "Pange lingua", Valentin Haussmann's "Wo Musik tut mit suessem Ton erklingen", Lambert de Sayve's "Warum willt du nit froehlich sein", the anonymous 14th century dances "Lamento di Tristano" and "Trotto", Franz Schubert's "Impromptu in A-flat major, Op. 90, No. 4", Georg Philipp Telemann's "Canonic Sonata in D Major", Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart's "My Funny Valentine", Steven Schwartz's "With You", and Warren Casey and Jim Jacobs' "Summer Nights".
