Noonday Concert

The Department of Music presented a Noonday Concert featuring performances by the College Brass Ensemble, as well as other student and faculty musicians. The Brass Ensemble played Johann Pezel's "Sonata #2" from Hora Decima, Johann Sebastian Bach's "Contra punctus #1" from The Art of the Fugue, and Ingolf Dahl's "Music for Brass Instruments". The other piece comprising this program were Alfred Noack's "Time", Heather MacGregor's "Music for alto and tenor recorder", Ludwig van Beethoven's "Adagio Cantabile" from Sonata #8, Dennis Gesualdi's "S.B.S.", William Wallach's "Music #1 and #3", Darby MacKenzie's "Podumala", Bach's "Sonata #4 in C Major", and Henry Loeb's "Music for Piano".
