Noonday Concert

The Music Department presented the second Noonday Concert of the 1974-1975 academic year in Memorial Hall. The concert celebrated the dedication of the restored Priestley Piano. Students and faculty played such pieces as Johann Sebastian Bach's "Two-part inventions for keyboard", Alexander Reinagle's "Minuet as danced at the Theatres Philadelphia and Baltimore" and "The Maryland Hornpipe", George Frideric Handel's "Adagio and Allegro from Trio Sonata in F major for Oboe, Bassoon, and Harpsichord", Reinagle's "The much admir'd song in The Stranger", Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Larghetto from Clarinet Quintet", Francis Johnson's "Milton" and "Mary", and Antonio Vivaldi's "Adagio and Allegro from Violin Concerto in G minor".
