Noonday Concert

The Department of Music presented the sixth Noonday Concert for the 1971-1972 academic year in Memorial Hall in Old West. Students and faculty performed such pieces as Francois Couperin's "Concert a deux bassons"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Flute Concerto" and "Piano Sonata"; Johannes Brahms' "Die Mainacht", "Immer leise wird mein Schlummer", and "Meine Liebe ist grun"; Gabriel Faure's "Clair de lune", Sergei Rachmaninov's "Vocalise", and Walter Piston's "Three Pieces for Flute, Clarinet and Bassoon".
