Noonday Concert
Wed., Feb. 4, 1981
The Department of Music presented the sixth Noonday Concert of the 1980-1981 academic year in Memorial Hall. Students and faculty performed a banjo solo entitled "Foggy Mountain Breakdown", Isaac Albeniz's "Granada" and "Zambra Granadina", a selection of American folk songs, three dances from Greek and Khalmuk cultures, and four spirituals: "Give me the mind, Lord", "Steal Away", "Wade in the water" and "The blood will never lose its power".
