Phi Kappa Sigma Returns to Campus
Tue., Sep. 1, 1987
The Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity, after being suspended in 1984, returned during the fall 1987 semester. Simon Nash, former assistant director of the national Phi Kappa Sigma organization, Ron Siggs, the former executive director of Phi Kappa Sigma, and Jack Howell, the former chapter advisor, all began recruitment for the fraternity on campus in the spring of 1987. Ron Siggs estimated that the newly established Epsilon chapter at Dickinson would be re-installed in the fall of 1988 after they completed "the Challenge," a series of tasks required of chapters to complete before they were re-installed.
