The Gift of Montezuma was shown at a meeting of the Mohler Scientific Society through the generosity of the Hershey company.  The film showed the cultivation, harvesting, shipping, and processing of cocoa beans, the methods of manufacture of Hershey candies, and the town of Hershey.  It was notable for being all-sound and for containing color scenes.
