Senior Vocal Recital

The Music Department presented a senior recital by mezzo-soprano Stephanie Emmons, accompanied by pianist Kee Mann Chang, at 3:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Emmons performed Antonio Vivaldi's "Laudamus Te"; George Frideric Handel's "Come Unto Him"; Charles Gounod's "Ave Maria"; Antonin Dvorak's "Gott ist mein Hirte"; Paul Bouman's "The Lord is My Shepherd"; Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's "Hear My Prayer"; Hugo Wolf's "Ach, des Knaben Augen", "Herr, was tragt der Boden hier", "Verschwiegene Liebe", and "In dem Schatten meiner Locken"; Nadia Boulanger's "Cantique", "Au Bord de la Route", and "Vous m'avez dit..."; Manuel de Falla's "El Pano Moruno", "Asturiana", and "Nana"; Joaquin Nin-Culmell's "La Rosa Enflorece"; John Duke's "Loveliest of Trees"; Benjamin Britten's arrangement of "The trees they grow so high"; Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Silent Noon"; and Johannes Brahms' "The Sisters".
