Symphonic Band Performs

The Music Department presented a concert by the Symphonic Band at 7:30pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. The band performed Dale Harpham and Sammy Nestico's "The Silver Quill" (arr. Nestico), Claude Thomas Smith's "Incidental Suite", Robert E. Foster's "Fantasia on a Hymn by Praetorius", P.D.Q. Bach's "Grand Serenade for an Awful Lot of Winds and Percussion" (adapt. Peter Schickele), Robert Washburn's "Partita II", John Higgins' arrangement "Irving Berlin Showstoppers", and John Philip Sousa's "The Fairest of the Fair".
