Westminster Singers Perform

The Westminster Singers, of Westminster Choir College, performed in Rubendall Recital Hall at 7:30pm. They performed Josquin Des Prez's "El grillo", Claudio Monteverdi's "Lamento d'Arianna: Lasciatemi morire", Adriano Banchieri's "Contrapunto bestiale alla mente", John Farmer's "Faire Phyllis I saw sitting all alone", Thomas Tomkins' "Oh, yes, has any found a lad", Johannes Brahms' "Vier Zigeunerlieder, Op. 112", Wilhelm Stenhammar's "Three Choral Ballads", William Mathias' "Shakespeare Songs", Gail Kubik's "Four Choral Profiles", Wendell Whalum's arrangement of "Who'll be a Witness?", William Dawson's arrangements of "Ev'ry Time I Feel the Spirit" and "Swing Low Sweet Chariot", Vincent Youmans' "Sometimes I'm Happy" and "Hallelujah!", Jerome Kern's "They Didn't Believe Me" and "Two Songs of Remembrance", John Lennon and Paul McCartney's "Michelle", and Cole Porter's "Begin the Beguine".
