Young Artists in Residence Week Opening Concert

The Department of Music presented the College Choir, the Chapel Choir and the College-Community Orchestra in a concert in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium at 3:00pm. This concert was the opening event for Young Artists in Residence Week, an event which brought several artists in a variety of mediums to Dickinson's campus to work and engage with students and faculty. The groups performed five pieces: Ludwig van Beethoven's "Overture for the Consecration of the House", Arcangelo Corelli's "Concerto grosso in G minor", Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's "Magnificat anima mea", Serge Rachmaninov's "Magnificat anima mea" from The All Night Service, and Johann Sebastian Bach's "Magnificat anima mea". Admission to this concert was free.
