The Department of Music presented the Collegium Musicum's performance of "Golden Hits from the Renaissance", featuring the Trombone Ensemble, at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  The ensemble performed Josquin des Prés' "Vive le roy", "Mille regretz", "L'Homme armé", and "Kyrie"; Roland de Lassus' "Mon coeur se recommande à vous"; Passereau's "Il est bel et bon"; Orazio Vecchi's "Fa una canzone"; Orlando Gibbons' "The Silver Swan"; John Dunstable's "O Rosa bella"; an unknown composer's "L'Homme armé"; Jacques Barbireau's "Een vrolic wesen"; an unknown composer's "La volta"; Claude Gervaise's "Bransle de Champagne" and "Pavanne Passamaize and Galliarde"; Juan del Encina's "Todos los bienes del mundo"; Martin Luther's "Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott"; Tomás Luis de Victoria's "O Vos omnes"; Thomas Morley's "Fantasie [The Catherine Wheel]" and "Sing We and Chant It"; Giulio Caccini's "Amarilli mia bella"; John Dowland's "Flow My Teares" and "Now, Oh Now, I Needs Must Part"; Heinrich Schütz's "Fili mi Absalon"; Thomas Weelkes' "When David Heard"; and Jehan Tabourot's "Belle qui tiens ma vie".
