Together with the Central Pennsylvania Consortium, the Music Department presented "A Concert of Traditional Chinese Instrumental Music by David Mingyue Liang" at 8:15pm in Memorial Hall. Mingyue performed Wang Wei's "Farewell at Yanguan"; Liu Tianhua's "In Affliction"; the traditional melodies "Remembering an Old Friend", "Song of a Laundry Lady", "Flowers on Brocade", and "Fisherman's Evening Song"; and his own pieces "Roaming in Changan", "South Wind", "White Cloud", "Song of the Phoenix", and "Autumn Lament".
