1965 Collegium Musicum Winter Concert

Collegium Musicum, directed by J. Forrest Posey, gave their winter concert at 8:00pm in Little Theatre in the HUB. The first grouping of songs from their program included Orlando di Lasso's "Matona, mia cara", Carlo Gesualdo's "Moro Lasso", "E la don don, Verges Maria", Claudin de Sermisy's "Au joly bois" and "Ung jour Robin", and Henry Purcell's "In These Delightful, Pleasant Groves". The second group featured "My Mere L'Oye (Mother Goose Suite)" by Maurice Ravel, "Bailero" as arranged by Canteloube, and "Entr'acte" by Jacques Ibert. They concluded the show with Thomas Morely's "About the May Pole" and four choral dances from Benjamin Britten's Gloriana
