Chamber Orchestra and Eaken Piano Trio Perform

The Music Department presented a Chamber Orchestra concert featuring the Eaken Piano Trio at 8:00pm in the Weiss Center for the Arts.  The pieces performed included Pablo de Sarasate's "Introduction and Tarantelle (op. 43) for solo violin and orchestra", Girolamo Frescobaldi's "Toccata for solo cello and orchestra", Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's "Concerto No. 1 for piano and orchestra in G minor (op. 25)", and Ludwig van Beethoven's "Concerto for violin, cello, piano, and orchestra (op. 56)".
