Collegium Musicum, Recorder Society, and Handbell Choir Perform

The Music Department presented a concert by the Collegium Musicum, the Recorder Society, and the Handbell Choir at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  The ensembles performed Johann Christian Bach's "Wenn wir in höchsten Nöten sein", Johann Gottfried Walther's "Machs mir mir, Gott, nach deiner Gut", Friedrich Wilhelm Zachow's "In Dich hab', ich gehoffet, Herr", Georg Philipp Telemann's "Laudate Jehovam", Franz Schubert's "Heilig ist der Herr", Paul Bouman's arrangement of the American folk hymn "Amazing Grace", Philippine Wesler's "Galliarde" and "Allemande", Claudio Monteverdi's "Laciatemi morire", H. Elliott Button's arrangement of the traditional British tune "Drink to Me Only with Thine Eyes", Johann Mattheson's "Gavotte", Daniel Friderici's "Wir lieben sehr im Herzen", Johannes Brahms' "In stiller Nacht" and "Es ist ein Schnitter", Gail Downey's "Classic Prelude", Betty B. Garee's arrangement of the traditional Spanish piece "In Joseph's Lovely Garden", and Heinrich Schütz's "Verbum caro factum est".
