Noonday Concert

The Music Department presented a Noonday Concert in the Rubendall Recital Hall. Students and faculty performed Ludwig van Beethoven's "Rondo a capriccio in G major" and "Quartet in F major, Op. 18, No. 1"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "Trio Sonata in G major for flute, violin, and basso continuo, BWV 1038"; Bernhard Romberg's "Concerto No. 2 in D major, Op. 3"; Ed Lojeski's arrangement of Sherman and Sherman's "It's a Small World"; W. Lester's arrangement of the Welsh air "All Through the Night"; the anonymously composed piece "Peace is the World Smiling"; G. Marie's "La Cinquantaine"; Mark F. Walker's arrangement of Claude Debussy's "La Fille aux cheveux de Lin"; George Frideric Handel's "Piangerò la sorte mia"; Richard Strauss' "Allerseelen"; and Johny Warrington's arrangements of Mel Torme's "The Christmas Song" and "Let it Snow".
